about the development of the EV-models
The below-mentioned report about my hobby describes the history of the ornithopter models EV1 to EV7. These models have weights of about five kilograms [176 oz] and wing spans of about three meters [118 in]. Various drive mechanism and some theoretical analyses are outlined. The report is richly illustrated and shows e.g. further views of the following drive.
